TCPA Policy

The TCPA governs automated calls and text messages. Here is how we help you stay on the right side of it.

What the TCPA covers

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act restricts automated calls and text messages, particularly those sent for marketing purposes and those sent to numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry. Penalties are assessed per violation, so getting the rules right matters.

How TrueFrontline is designed

  • Inbound-first. The service is built to answer calls people make to you. It is not a dialer and does not make outbound marketing calls.
  • Transactional by default. Appointment confirmations, reminders, and call summaries are transactional messages tied to a call the person initiated.
  • Consent tracking. We record whether a caller consented to texts during the call, so you have a record if you ever need it.
  • Opt-out handling. Reply-to opt-outs such as STOP are honored and suppressed automatically.

Your responsibilities

  • Only send marketing messages to people who have given the consent the law requires.
  • Honor opt-out requests, including internal do-not-call lists.
  • Include required identification in any message you send on your own behalf.
  • Follow state laws, which can be stricter than the federal rules.

Call recording consent

Recording and monitoring laws vary by state, and some require every party's consent. We let you play a recording notice at the start of calls and we log consent state per call. You remain responsible for choosing the right notice for your jurisdiction.

Messages we send on your behalf

When the AI books a visit, it can text a confirmation to the caller and an alert to your on-call technician. These are transactional. If you choose to layer marketing on top, use a separate consent flow and keep the two opt-out lists distinct.
